Guess what? The Nexus One, the renowned “iPhone killer,” doesn’t seem to be making the dent in Apple’s business that Google was hoping for. Here’s what Google must understand:
Apple was first to market.
Apple is the innovator.
Apple will continue to lead the way long into the future.
The problem with copying great products is that, although you might be able to replicate an experience or sell it for cheaper, you will always find yourself trailing behind.
If you want to change the game, you have to spend the time, effort and money to develop amazing products – not copy them. Oh, and just wait for Apple’s next round of iPhone updates and releases. I have a feeling that we haven’t seen anything yet.
