David Meerman Scott on Social Media

The New Rules of Marketing and PRIf you have not read David Meerman Scott’s books, “The New Rules of Marketing” and PR or “World Wide Rave,” you should definitely take a look at them. Scott had a keen understanding of how the Web and social media have dramatically changed the relationship between businesses and consumers (as well as non profits and the public).

He has a video available on Vimeo (sorry, can’t embed it here) that is a great primer: http://www.vimeo.com/6955359. If you are in marketing, public relations or the non profit world, I would definitely recommend his books, blog, and other online content.
